On June 17, 2020, Giorgi Rtskhiladze sued Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III and the U.S. Department of Justice for $100 million claiming that he was defamed in Footnote 112, Vol. II, of the Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election.  Footnote 112, the Complaint alleges, caused "massive financial and emotional harm" by suggesting he was aware of recordings allegedly made during Trump's 2013 visit to Moscow for the Miss Universe Pageant.  Mr. Rtskhiladze is represented by Jerry Madden of The Madden Law Group PLLC.
